Pedro vs. Lowe in Pictures

Though it’s a little late, here’s a followup photo shoot of my first game at Dodger Stadium two weeks ago. Pedro Martinez faced off against former Sox mate Derek Lowe, with other former Bostonians Bill Mueller (DL), Aaron Sele, Nomar, and Grady Little also watching from the Dodger dugout.
Half hour before gametime, 6:38pm, the Dodger faithful arrives as the scoreboard announces quite a showdown:
Cue the nasal tone of Vince Scully, “Welcome to beautiful Dodger Stadium.”
Orel Hershiser later threw out the first pitch.
Before the game is an inning old, Nomar whacks the first pitch he sees from Pedro over the centerfield fence
My first view of Lastings Milledge
And Milledge’s last view of a Derek Lowe curveball:
Could Strat use this as one of their color ballparks?
I found this pretty cool: over the left field fence, this sign:
Pedro has an early exit after 2 errors by Jose Valentin
Even Nomar’s bat speed might not be enough to catch up to this pitch,
Notice the flight of the ball as it’s about to cross home plate.
