LHP-starter (three relief appearances along with 19 Starts)
Current card: Useable in a pinch. Not someone you want to throw every 5 days. A 3.94 ERA at home and 7.26 on the road suggest he needs a little more seasoning to gain confidence.
Current card grade: C-
Future prognosis: Loewen is still the best pitching prospect in the Orioles organization. When he gains a little confidence and stops trying to spot his pitches he’ll become a much more successful pitcher. He has ML quality pitches and he will continuously be tracked for progress for next season.
